This soap is based on the original Florida Water which is an alcohol-based cologne first used in the early 1800s as a perfume. More recently, it has become a staple in mystical practices and primarily made by the Murray & Lanman company and carries a very citrusy, floral scent.
Legend has it that it was given the name "Florida Water" because the Fountain of Youth is said to be somewhere in Florida. Although today it is used for offerings, cleansing, and more and is popular among those who practice specific rituals.
