The June 20, 2024, Summer Solstice is almost here, marking the longest day of the year and offering us a special chance to connect with the sun and the universe.

This solstice is like nature's way of saying, "Hey, let's dance together in harmony!"

You see, the Summer Solstice isn't just a day on the calendar. It's a magical time when the sun shines its brightest and longest, showing us how deeply we're connected to nature's rhythms. It's a reminder that we're part of this amazing universe, and we can learn a lot from its patterns and cycles.

So, how can we make the most of this cosmic party?

It's simple, really. Just take a moment to feel the sun's warmth on your skin. Close your eyes and imagine soaking up its energy and light, feeling grateful for the beauty of nature all around you.

During the solstice, it's a great idea to think about what you want to bring into your life. Maybe there's something you've been dreaming about or a goal you want to achieve. The solstice is like a giant green light from the universe, encouraging you to go for it!

Connecting to your own guidance through Nature: A Summer Solstice Ceremony

As we approach the June 20, 2024, Summer Solstice, let's celebrate by connecting with nature and our inner selves. Here's a simple ceremony you can perform to tap into the wisdom of the natural world and gain insights into your life's path:

Step 1: Journey into Nature

Find a quiet spot in nature that speaks to you—a park, a beach, a forest, anywhere that allows you to feel connected to the earth and its rhythms. Take a few deep breaths and center yourself in the present moment.

Step 2: Open Your Senses

As you walk or sit in nature, open your senses fully. Notice the sights, sounds, smells, and sensations around you. Pay attention to anything that catches your eye or stirs your heart.

Step 3: Choose Your Inspiration

When you encounter something that resonates with you—a flower, a tree, a rock, an animal—pause and observe it closely. Feel its energy and beauty, and let it connect with you. Listen with your heart to any message it wants to share with you.

While I was at the state park, a fascinating frog (toad?) crossed my path and stopped right in front of me. As I paused and observed it, the initial message became clear to "pause" and "slow down" so that I could receive a message. 

Then, surprisingly, the concept of "rejuvenation" came to mind (some frogs can regenerate lost limbs). It was a reminder for me of how magical the world is and sometimes we need to pause to allow the rejuvenation to happen. 

When I did an internet search ("metaphysical properties of frog"), this phrase really spoke to me.... "embracing change, letting go of the past, and navigating life's transitions with grace and wisdom"

The eclipse is a powerful catalyst for the new, but to receive the new we have to let go of the old - and this is certainly ringing true in my life right now!

My impatience has often delayed manifestations coming my way. A big lesson for me is to just allow and know that everything flowing in my life is exactly what I need right now. So this was a powerful reminder to stay in grace and wisdom as things shift around me.
